What is the Master Food Preserver Program?

The NMSU Cooperative Extension Master Food Preservation program trains individuals to become food preservation educators for their communities. The course uses researched-based methods and information along with hands-on experience to train participants on proper food preservation techniques.

If you are interested in enrolling please send me your mailing address and I will send you a packet of information. Don't delay - enrollment is limited! The cost to attend the full program and become certified is $150. You will receive books, as well as hands-on classes and be required to provide volunteer hours. Your certification will last for three years.
