Active and Healthy Lifestyle Education and Support
Numerous studies have documented the how physical activity can reduce the prevalence of common chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, improve mental health such as depression and stress, and decrease cognitive decline such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Reducing stress, building resilience, and developing skills to reduce feelings of isolation increases overall better health and a decreased risk of developing chronic diseases.
