Santa Fe, NM - This exciting event is a day of engaging demonstrations, informative exhibits, educational garden and land restoration tours, and the opportunity to connect with our dedicated local Extension agents, Master Gardeners, and 4-H Youth Volunteers. Best of all, admission and parking are completely free!

The Santa Fe County Cooperative Extension Open House is your chance to discover the wealth of educational programs offered to the Santa Fe community. Here are some highlights of what you can expect:

Master Gardener Tours: Embark on guided tours of our diverse gardens, showcasing cactus, pollinator-friendly plants, herbs, and exquisite roses. Learn about sustainable gardening practices, including composting, seed saving, passive water harvesting, land reclamation, and landscaping.

ICAN (Ideas for Nutrition and Education): Join the excitement while getting exercise by making a bike smoothie, experimenting with the veggie meter, and taking a tour of the Extension kitchen to explore cooking and nutrition through the ICAN program.
